he Medical and Allied Health Services Unit at Rwinkwavu District Hospital is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and delivering comprehensive clinical and allied health services to patients. The unit ensures high-quality, patient-centered care by overseeing the implementation of clinical protocols, promoting evidence-based medical practice, and supporting collaboration among multidisciplinary healthcare teams. It provides a wide range of services including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Maternity, Neonatology, Emergency and Outpatient Care, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD), Mental Health, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Physiotherapy, Dental, Ophthalmology, Anesthesia, Social Services, and the Isange One Stop Center. The unit also contributes to continuous quality improvement, medical education, research, and the supervision of clinical activities to ensure safe, effective, and efficient healthcare delivery.
